The afternoon 2:00 pm game start in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, the home of Little League Baseball world series, would be an early morning 3:00 game time in Taiwan half a world away. Avid fans would be awake and watching. Up and down the streets in those early morning hours, Cheers and shouts could be heard emanating from windows lit by flickering television screens.
